Park Circle Ceramics (PCC) offers a paint-your-own pottery experience for all ages and abilities. No experience necessary to enjoy this unique opportunity filled with fun, creativity, and lots of imagination. Our staff offers painting tips and guidance as needed.
Residents and visitors can take advantage of open studio time, classes (for adults and children), and “Projects of the Month.” PCC will also offer opportunities for birthday parties and group events and host special programs like kid’s storytime + paint events.
PCC is a joint program of the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department and Parks & Recreation Department.

How It Works
Choose the bisqueware item you would like to paint, select your glaze colors, and paint your masterpiece! Once completed, pieces are dried, fired in the kiln, and packaged for pick-up. Paint, tools, and firing are included in the price of each bisqueware piece. Projects can be picked up approximately 2 weeks after completion.
Choose from more than 60 bisqueware pieces! Bisqueware items available in the studio rotate with the seasons. Custom ordering is available!
Location
Park Circle Ceramics is located at 1103 Marquis Road in North Charleston. Situated in the bustling Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston, the studio is just around the corner from Park Circle Gallery, as well as a number of restaurants, bars/breweries, shops, parks, and other amenities.

PCC is closed Sunday-Monday.

Fee: $10
Bring your little one(s) for a fun morning of storytime and painting. After storytime, children and their accompanying adult can sit and paint a piece of pottery pertaining to the story. Your keepsake piece will be fired and ready for pickup in approximately 2 weeks.
Drop-In Valentine Painting Workshop (ages 4+)
Tuesday, February 2, 2023 – 10:00am-6:00pm (drop-in)
Fee: $15
No matter your status, we have your Valentine’s art project. Drop in anytime on 2/2 between 10am and 6pm to paint your very own conversation heart box or valentine plate. Give it to a loved one, or keep it for yourself. Heart boxes and plates will be ready for pickup the Friday before Valentine’s Day.
Senior Coffee Cup Paint (ages 50+)
Tuesday, February 7, 2023 – 10:00am-2:00pm (drop-in)
Fee: $5
Join our Senior Coffee Cup paint class the first Tuesday of each month. Seniors are invited to come and paint one pre-selected mug for $5 between 10am-2pm. Project ideas for your mug available, or use your imagination and style it yourself. Your mug will be fired and ready for pickup in approximately 2 weeks.
Silkscreen on Ceramics Workshop (ages 14+)
Thursday, February 16, 2023 – 5:30pm-7:00pm
Fee: $20
Join us for 1 1/2 hour workshop and learn to use Mayco Designer Silkscreens. Silkscreens are a great way to add intricate detail to your work, and they’re reusable! You will learn how to apply the silkscreens to a small plate to customize your ceramic piece. All skill levels welcome. Pieces will be fired and ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after completion.
