City of North Charleston’s 4th of July Festival
July 4 @ 3:00 pm - 9:45 pm
4th of July celebration and festival at the North Charleston Riverfront Park. The event begins at 3 PM on July 4th and will run till 9:45 PM. This year’s event features live music, lots of fun activities for children, food trucks, craft and gift vendors, and the Lowcountry’s largest 4th of July fireworks show.
The Festival is presented FREE to the public with all general admission for attendees. Guests attending the Festival are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as there is no seating provided. Food trucks and ATMs will be widely available. Children activities are available free of charge, including inflatable jump castles, games, the play area, the giant sandbox, and the water fountain.
Parking is free.
Plan to take the free shuttles. All parking will be offsite from the park and will require a short shuttle ride. Off-site parking can be found at the former Navy Hospital parking lot. Off-site parking will begin at 2:30pm.
Walking, biking, carpooling, and ridesharing is encouraged.

•Two entries into the park. The front gates off of Everglades Avenue and back gates at Navy Way
•All bags will be searched
•NO grills allowed in the park during the festival
•NO sparklers or outside fireworks allowed
