Stems and Skins is the brainchild of Sommelier Matt Tunstall, formerly of Husk Restaurant (the joint of well-known James Beard Award winner Sean Brock). They’re serving up wines, specialty cocktails, and beers from around the world, along with some of the most unique food pairings in North Charleston. As their tagline alludes, “Fresh & Freaky Ferments” and that’s just what you’ll get at Stems and Skins. The charcuterie and cheeses at Stems and Skins are incredible too.
The servers and bartenders are super friendly and make sure even the far-out menu items are approachable.
There’s outdoor, sidewalk seating at Stems and Skins. Small plates, great wine, and a nice North Charleston day is a recipe for success.
